Some moves of the mech-type beasts you control are executed with Street Fighter-like motions. This is a new feature you'll be seeing in sidescrolling games from Capcom for home systems. The game allows you to choose from four different mechs, all with excellent powers of their own. Just the way these mechs are drawn is a sight to behold. There are the obvious, normal weapon/special weapon controls, and three people can play at once. The game is not all Final Fight oriented. There are also high-speed arcade scenes where you move at a high velocity incinerat ing everything in your path. If you enjoyed Aliens Vs. Predator, this game is leaps-and-bounds better. One of the obvious improvements is the complexity of the end Bosses. The normal mechs you can choose from are incredible, but these monsters are sometimes four or five times your size, and fully animated. There are also detailed backgrounds for all four characters: Rash, Justice, Gray and Siren. Overall, this game will appeal to fans of Final Fight and Street Fighter and is sure to blaze through the arcades within the next couple of months.

Description

Armored Warriors is a 2D side-scrolling mecha-themed beat 'em-up game that puts players in the shoes of a mecha pilot. In 2281, Earth and the planet Raia ended a half a century lasting war. But a year after the ceasefire the Raian capital was captured by an unknown army. Earth has send an army to retake it under the pretext of protecting the citizens. But in reality Earth wants to bring Raia under it’s control.
In the game you take control of one of four pilots/mechas: Rash with his AEX-10M BLODIA, Justice with SVA-6L REPTOS, Gray with AEX-10H GULDIN and Siren with AEX-12J FORDY. You fight various mechas, tanks, other vehicles and bosses and along the way you can attach and use parts of destroyed enemies. The game can be played solo or with up to two friends. When playing with friends all mechas can fuse in to one powerful mecha.
