GENERAL TIPS

  • The game will keep running and your tribe members will keep working even after you quit, unless you pause the game before you quit. I wouldn’t recommend leaving the game to run unless you have at least two doctors and plenty of foragers and water gatherers. Otherwise you might go back to find that tribe members have died from disease or starvation.
  • Press Space Bar to pause the game, and press it a second time to resume.
  • You can adjust the game’s speed from the Main Menu. Click Options, then set the speed to Slow, Normal or Fast. If you’re building something, try speeding up to Fast to make things go by a little more quickly.
  • Press the Zoom button, or press the “Z” key on your computer to zoom out and see the entire map. Treasure map pieces show up when you’re zoomed out, but magic items (gold tools, cacti and food) don’t.
  • While zoomed out, you can click on any area of the map to travel there instantly.
  • To scroll around to different areas, move your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen.
  • You can also use the number keys on your keyboard to quickly jump to a particular section of Tribeville.
  • If you’re using a smaller laptop that doesn’t have a numeric keypad, use the keys that work with your Function button (usually marked in blue or green on your keyboard. On most laptops this is 789, UIO, JKL, and M).
  • To get a tribe member to interact with something you generally have to drag them onto it. Click the tribe member, then with the mouse button still held down, drag them on top of an object, then release the button.
  • To quickly move a tribe member to a different part of the map, click on it to hold it, then use the number keys to move to whichever part of the map you want to go to. You’ll bring the tribe member with you.
  • If you hear a chiming sound, it means that a magic item has appeared somewhere. Use the number keys to quickly move around the map to find it, then drag a tribe member over top to use the item. Magic items don’t stay for long, so be sure to grab them before they disappear!
  • Press the “0” (zero) key to cycle between tribe members. This works when you don’t have very many members, but once your tribe starts to get larger it’s better to use the “Tribe” key to get an overview of your tribe.
  • If you’re waiting for something to happen (like a structure being built), try zooming out and going to windowed mode. You can watch your tribe working away while you do something else (like check email or chat in the Gamezebo forums!)
  • Click on the Progress tab to see how many discoveries and evolutions you’ve made. The game ends when you’ve completed when you’ve finished all of them.
  • When a medical symbol blinks on the screen it means one of your tribe members is sick. Click on the symbol to instantly travel to the sick member.
  • When a hyena symbol blinks on the screen it means hyenas are about to attack. They will always come out of the forest to the north in groups of either two or three. Drag your lion on top of each hyena to scare it off. Hyenas will chase your tribe members cause them to run away and stop whatever task they were in the middle of.

There are four Great Fairy locations in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Each one will allow you to enhance your gear, adding more defense and a few special bonuses to boot. Before you can get these bonuses, first you have to find the Great Fairy locations in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, then with each new Great Fairy Fountain you find, additional enhancements will be available.

TRIBE MEMBER TYPES

  • Wobblies can evolve into five different professions. You can revert an evolved tribe member back to wobbly by dragging them into the Mysterious Swirling Pool in the western part of Tribeville.
  • Tribe members have four skill levels: Novice, Skilled, Expert and Guru. Certain actions can only be performed by expert and guru members.

Wobbly
Role: Breed and evolve!

  • Wobblies are the only tribe members that can evolve into other types of animal.
  • Wobblies are also the only tribe members that can breed.

Builder (gorilla)
Role: Build structures.
How to evolve: Drag a wobbly onto the stick pile, then onto a building site. Or, equip a wobbly with a tomahawk and drag him onto the stone pillar.
Notes:

  • Gorillas can use sticks, tomahawks, hammers and nails.
  • A Gorilla must be expert level to make a pickaxe, and guru level to make a hammer.
  • Builders can improve their skill by carving the stone pillars. Even if the statue is finished, the gorilla can still practice.

Forager (giraffe)
Role: Gather konuts for food.
How to evolve: After the Food Storage bin has been constructed, drag a wobbly onto a Konut Bush.
Notes:

  • Only giraffes are tall enough to reach the Konut Trees.
  • Giraffes can use shovels to fertilize and irrigate the Konut Trees.

Water Gatherer (elephant)

Role: Gather water, dig wells.
How to evolve: After the Water Tank has been constructed, drag a wobbly onto the river. It will automatically begin collecting water and taking it to the Water Tank.

Doctor (zebra)

Role: Heal sick tribe members. Research cures for diseases.
How to evolve: Drag a wobbly onto a sick tribe member, or onto the medicine table in front of the hospital.
Notes:

  • Drag a doctor onto sick tribe members to heal them.
  • Doctors can use shovels to dig up roots.
  • Doctors can pick up sticks and help with building if there’s nothing else for them to do.
  • You should always have two doctors in the tribe in case one of them gets sick, since doctors can’t treat themselves.
  • Doctors can improve their skills by treating patients and studying medicine at the hospital.

Defender (lion)
Role: Defends the tribe against hyenas.
How to evolve: Drag a wobbly onto a hyena, or onto the practice dummy.
Notes:

  • Lions can be equipped with tomahawks to make them stronger.
  • Have a lion practice its skills by dragging it onto the practice dummy near the entrance to the hyenas’ forest.
  • You only ever really need one defender at a time – just be sure to help out by dragging the lion onto the next hyena immediately so it doesn’t have to chase it down.

PLACES AND THINGS ON THE MAP

The first map shows areas of interest at the beginning of the game.

The second map below shows a few more things to investigate after the river dries up.

West
Mysterious Swirling Pool – Drag an evolved tribe member into the pool and they’ll revert back to a wobbly.

River – A source of water. Drag wobbly onto it and they’ll evolve into a water gatherer. Drag elephants here for them to gather water.

Dark mud in river – After the river dries up you’ll see a dark patch of mud in the riverbed. This is where the elephants come to dump the dirt from the wells they dig. Have a giraffe dig up some of this dirt and it can be used to fertilize the sickly konut trees.

North
Pile of Rock Wedges – Drag builder or defender onto the stick pile then here to make a tomahawk.

Smallberry – Doctors can collect them. A cure for Tumrot.

Practice Dummy – Drag a wobbly here to evolve them into a lion. Lions can practice their defender skills here.

Wood Pile – Provides wood for building the storage bin, water tank and hospital. You also need wood to make hammers, shovels and tomahawks.

Center
Structure Near the River – This is the building site for the Water Tower. Drag workers with wood here to get started on building.

Water Tank – The structure that can be built on the Structure Near the River area of the map. Elephants gather water and bring it here to store. Tribe members will come here to drink.

Structure Near the Big Tree – This is the building site for the Storage Bin. Drag workers with wood here to get started on building.

Storage Bin – The structure that can be built on the Structure Near the Big Tree are of the map. Giraffes gather food and bring it here to store. Tribe members will come here to eat.

Tree – After you’ve completed the first treasure map and revealed the tree symbol, drag a builder with a tomahawk onto the tree to gather wood (building materials).

East
Pile of rock oblongs – Drag a builder onto the stick pile then onto here to make a hammer.

Konut Bush – can be harvested by wobblies.

Konut Tree – can only be harvested by giraffes because they can reach it.

Tall Konut Tree – these trees have yellowish leaves and look sicky. Eventually you can fertilize them.

Very Tall Konut Tree – these are the sickly brown looking plants with the cracked dirt in front. Later on, you can build a well nearby and irrigate them.

Konut Roots – Give a shovel to the doctor to have them dig up the roots.

Strange Bush – Drag a Guru doctor onto the bush to clear away the leaves and reveal Yaya Flowers. These are used to cure fever.

South

Clear Space – building site for the hospital. Drag workers with wood here to begin construction.

Hospital – The structure that gets built on the Clear Space. Have your doctor collect roots and flowers and bring them to the hospital to discover new cures for diseases. Drag your doctor onto the hospital to have them practice medicine.
Once you’ve researched all the disease cures, if a tribe member gets sick, simply drag them onto one of the stretchers in front of the hospital and the doctors will automatically heal them – you don’t have to manually collect any ingredients.

Stone Pillars
Drag workers with tomahawks onto them to chisel away at the stone pillars and turn them into statues. Each statue represents one of the jobs – from left to right: zebra, elephant, giraffe, lion, and gorilla. Each profession will learn more quickly if its statue is built. Gorillas can increase their building skills by continuing to work on to statues even after they’re built.
In the latter stages of the game when you’re trying to build in ark, only expert builders can start working on the ark, so drag some wobblies onto the statue to train them up quickly.

TOOLS AND ITEMS

Shovel

  • Drag an elephant, zebra or giraffe onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock wedges.
  • Shovels can be used to dig wells, and dig up roots.

Tomahawk

  • Drag a wobbly, gorilla or lion onto the stick pile, then onto the pile of rock wedges.
  • Tomahawks can be used to carve the stone pillars, and to build the first three sections of the ark. Lions can be equipped with tomahawks to help them defend.

Hammer

  • Drag a guru builder (gorilla) onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock oblongs to make a hammer.
  • The hammer can be used on the crack that appears in the mountain after the river dries up to get metal. Use the hammer on the crack to get nails.

Magic items

  • Magic items randomly appear on the map for a short time. They are water cacti, red fruits, and golden shovels, tomahawks and hammers. These are basically “super” versions of the regular items: the cactus grants extra water, the fruit grants extra food, and the tools build more efficiently.

TREASURE MAPS

  • Click on the randomly-appearing treasure map pieces to complete treasure maps. There are four treasure maps in the game, with eight pieces each.
  • When you complete a map, a glowing blue area appears somewhere in Tribeville. Drag a tribe member with a shovel onto the blue area to begin digging. Once completed, a pattern will be outlined in the sand. Dig this outline as well. Once completed, a circular tree symbol will also appear in the sand.
  • Drag a builder with a tomahawk onto the Tree to gather wood, then click on the tree symbol to start gathering building materials. When finished, you’ll have a “Pile of Building Materials.” Now, you can click an expert builder onto the strange shape in the sand to begin constructing a piece of the ark.
  • Treasure maps 1, 2 and 3 can be completed using the above steps. Treasure Map 4 is slightly different because you need a hammer to gather building materials from the tree.

DISEASES AND CURES

Sneezles

  • This disease can be cured by a novice doctor or a Wobbly. (Using a Wobbly to heal will evolve it into a doctor.)

Tumrot

  • The cure for Tumrot is Smallberries. Drag a doctor onto the Smallberry bush to pick up some leaves, then drag the doctor onto the sick tribe member.
  • Once the cure has been discovered, the doctor will automatically gather ingredients and use them on the sick tribe member. You can also drag sick members onto the hospital stretcher and the doctor will automatically heal them.

Kopox

  • The cure for Tumrot is Konut roots.
  • Drag an expert doctor onto the stick pile then onto the Pile of Rock Wedges to make a shovel, then click on the pile of roots in the upper right part of Tribeville to dig up some. Drag the doctor onto the Hospital to study the roots. When he’s finished, you’ll discover the cure.
  • Once the cure has been discovered, the doctor will automatically gather ingredients and use them on the sick tribe member. You can also drag sick members onto the hospital stretcher and the doctor will automatically heal them.

Fever

  • The cure for Fever is Yaya Flowers from the Strange Bush.
  • Drag a guru doctor onto the Strange Bush to clear away the leaves. Drag the doctor onto it a second time to collect the Yaya Flowers, then take them back to the hospital to study the flowers and discover the cure.
  • Once the cure has been discovered, the doctor will automatically gather ingredients and use them on the sick tribe member. You can also drag sick members onto the hospital stretcher and the doctor will automatically heal them.

Ebolio

  • The cure for Ebolio is a mixture of Smallberries and Yaya Flowers.
  • Have your doctor pick up both Smallberries and Yaya Flowers (the doctor can hold them both at the same time), then take them back to the hospital to discover the cure.
  • Once the cure has been discovered, the doctor will automatically gather ingredients and use them on the sick tribe member. You can also drag sick members onto the hospital stretcher and the doctor will automatically heal them.

WALKTHROUGH

There are 18 goals to complete in order to finish the game. You can see how many goals you’ve completed by clicking the Progress button. Sometimes you’ll be prompted by messages and hints about what to do next; other times you’ll need to figure out how to complete a goal by experimentation.

This walkthrough shows how to complete goals in the order in which they’re listed, but you don’t necessary have to complete them in order.

Problem: Limited Resources
The first thing you’re asked to do is find a way for the tribe to store food and water and build up its reserves. Start by breeding your wobblies. I had eight builders, two doctors and one lion to start out.

GOAL 1: FOOD STORAGE

  • Drag some wobblies onto the stick pile, then onto the “Structure near the Big Tree” to begin construction of the food storage bin. I bred my wobblies until I had 8 builders working.
  • Drag a Wobbly onto a Konut Bush and it will evolve into a forager (giraffe) and begin taking food to the storage bin.

GOAL 2: WATER STORAGE

  • Drag some workers onto the stick pile, then onto the “Structure Near the River” to start construction of the Water Tank.
  • Once the Water Tank is built, drag a wobbly onto the River to evolve it into a water gatherer (elephant). It will begin gathering water and taking it to the Water Tank.

At this point you should breed about eight elephants and eight giraffes to stock up on food and water.

GOAL 3: TOMAHAWK

  • Click a builder or defender onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock wedges to make a tomahawk.

GOAL 4: HOSPITAL

  • Build in the clear area in the southeast part of Tribeville to construct the hospital.

GOAL 5: SHOVEL

  • Drag a water gatherer, giraffe or doctor onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock wedges to make a shovel.

Problem: No water

  • Sometime after you’ve build the Water Tank, the river will dry up and you’ll have to find a new water source. You’ll notice that three patches of muddy dirt have appeared on the map. You can dig wells here.

GOAL 6: WELL

  • Drag an elephant onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock wedge to make a shovel, then dig on the soggy spots to make a well. You’ll need expert elephants to dig the well near the dried up konut trees in the north end of Tribeville (see screenshot below)

GOAL 7: FERTILIZER

  • Drag an expert forager onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock wedges to make a shovel, then drag them onto the patch of wet mud in the dried up riverbed, then drag them onto each of the sickly Konut Trees.

GOAL 8: CURE FOR EBOLIO

  • Have your doctor pick up both Yaya Flowers and Smallberries and take them back to the hospital to discover the cure.

Problem: Water rising
You’ll get a couple of messages that sea level has started to rise. It looks like you’ll have to figure out a way to get off the island… completing the four treasure maps holds the key…

GOAL 9: WEIRD WOOD THINGS

  • Finish building the first part of the ark from the first treasure map.

GOAL 10: ODD ROOF

  • Finish building the first part of the ark from the second treasure map.

GOAL 11: WOODEN BEAM CONSTRUCTED

  • Finish building the first part of the ark from the third treasure map.

GOAL 12: SLIDING SLATS

Here is my humble guide about different Expeditions and their hidden threats. Other Cultist Simulator Guides: Getting Started. How to Survive as a Cultist. Quick Guide to Rites. Quick Lore Study Reference. Guide to the Mansus. How to Make Money & Earn Promotions. Cultist simulator expeditions guide.

  • Finish building the first part of the ark from the fourth treasure map. (Note: You have to use hammers to build this one instead of tomahawks.)

GOAL 13: IDOLS FINISHED!

  • Build all 5 idols to completion by using builders with tomahawks on the five stone pillars.

GOAL 14: IRRIGATION

  • Use expert elephants to dig the well near the parched looking konut trees. Once the well is complete, give a shovel to a guru giraffe and drag it onto the well to dig an irrigation system.

GOAL 15: HAMMER

  • Drag a guru builder onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock oblongs to make a hammer.

GOAL 16: METAL

  • Drag a guru builder onto the stick pile then onto the pile of rock oblongs to make a hammer. Then, drag the builder onto the crack that appears in the mountainside in the upper left of the screen after the river dries up.

GOAL 17: NAIL

  • After metal has been discovered, drag a builder with a hammer onto the same area (metal pile) to create a nail.

GOAL 18: ARK

  • By now you should have built each of the four wooden structures from the treasure maps. Drag four workers onto the first wooden piece to move it into position. Repeat with the other three pieces.
  • Finally, equip your workers with hammers and nails and drag them onto the structure to finish building it.

Once the ark is finished, you’ve won the game. Congratulations!”;
