To start making wine, you'll have to unlock a series of things that will help you progress through the game.

Farming Grapes

Technology: Grape FarmingVine TrellisGrape Seed
5 2 10 .Complete the Inquisitor's 2nd Task.Buy from the Merchant

The first thing you're gonna need is access to the Grape Farming technology. Another important part is to complete the second task from the Inquisitor. This will give you access to the Vine Trellis located west of Witch Hill and east of your Garden.

You can clear a blockage northeast of your house for easier access to the Vine Trellis.

Last thing you're gonna need are Grape Seeds, which you can buy from the Merchant.

Winemaking

Technology: WinemakingVine PressWine Making Barrel

The next step is to learn the Winemaking technology and build a Vine Press. Go to the Cellar (the basement in your house) and approach the blueprint table. Gather the necessary materials and build one of each.

You need 15 Grapes of the same quality, i.e bronze, silver or gold , in order to craft a Pail of Grape juice on the Vinepress. This can be a very grindy process, which makes this a great opportunity to learn about fertilisers.

Boost Fertilizer

Compost HeapPeatEnergy Elixir
Build on the Garden with 10 Woden SticksProduced at Compost Heap on the Garden, using Crop Waste.Created at the Alchemy Workbench, mixing Acceleration Powder and Slowing Solution.

Boost Fertilizer comes in 2 qualities, Boost Fertilizer I, and II. Both are crafted at the Church Workbench and need Peat and Energy Elixir. To craft Peat, you need a Compost Heap which you can build on the Garden.

Energy Elixir can be a bit more complicated to produce. You need an Alchemy Workbench tier I. There are two recipes for Energy Elixir:

ItemMaterials Required
Energy Elixir1x Acceleration Powder & 1x Slowing Solution
Energy Elixir1x Slowing Powder & 1x Acceleration Solution

The easier recipe is the first one. To craft Acceleration Powder, you need the Alchemy Mill. You can decompose Hemp in the Alchemy Mill (don't forget to study it at the Study Table, first) for 3x Acceleration Powder. Use Honey for the same result.

To craft Slowing Solution, you need the Hand Mixer. Study Beeswax, Hops, or Fat at the Study Table and put these into the Hand Mixer. Beeswax will produce 4 Slowing Solution, Hops will produce 3, and Fat will produce 1.

Bee Domestication

Bee Domestication is a technology found on the Farming & Nature tab. It'll cost you 30 and 50 . Learning this technology will unlock the Bee Hive. To build a Bee Hive, go north from your church, pass the blockage and then to the right. You'll see a sort of shelter where you can repair the Apiary. To repair it, you need 4 Wooden Plank, 4 Simple Iron Parts, and 2 Clean Paper.

Once the Apiary is repaired, you can start building Bee Hives for 4 Flitch, 6 Nails and 20 Bees. You can find Bees on wild Bee Hives, but they're scarce. Another alternative is to buy it from the Beekeeper. He is located northwest of the Tavern. He sells 1 Bee for 1 Silver.

Rom

And that's about all you need to make wine. Make sure to give one to Gerry and another one to the Inquisitor once you have some wine on your hands. After giving the Wine to the Inquisitor, you'll have to brew beers, but first, you need to build the snack tent. You will need 5 Hemp Rope, 15 Wooden Planks, and 20 Nails. Once it's built, you have to stock up with 5 Burgers and 10 Beer.

Brewing

To brew beers, you'll need the Brewing technology, which you'll find in the Farming and Nature technology tree. It'll cost you 100 and 10 .

To build the Brewing Stand, go to the Cellar and bring 24 Stone and 4 Simple Iron Parts. To start brewing beer, you'll need 50 Water, 3 Hops and 15 Wheat. Buy Wheat seeds from the Merchant, Hops seed from the Miller and take water from your well.

Note: You need Tier II on the Miller's shop to be able to buy Hops. Simply buy and sell stuff to him in order to level up. He doesn't sell you many seeds either, so it's a good idea to use Boost Fertilizer on the Vine Trellis before planting the seeds (to ensure that you'll get more seeds). You'll only need to do this once to stock up the snack tent.

Burgers

To make burgers, you need 4 Baked Meat, 2 Bread, and 5 Onion.

You'll get 4 Burgers each time, meaning you'll have to do this twice.
